2025 Cloverleaf High School Marching Band Production "Rapunzel" Featuring Drill Design by JJ Visual Design
Cloverleaf High School’s 2026 production, Rapunzel, put a fresh spin on the familiar story by exploring freedom and the desire to break free rather than presenting a literal retelling of the fairy tale. Inspired by the pairing of “Blackbird” by Lennon-McCartney and “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the production featured selections from Free As A Bird, arranged by Luke McMillan, and used timeless, audience-friendly music to bring its theme to life.
Drill(opens in new tab) for Rapunzel was written by JJ Visual Design Visual Designer Casey Lockard(opens in new tab), helping translate the production’s themes of confinement, freedom, and breaking free into movement on the field.
