Clay HS 2025

2025 Clay High School Fighting Eagles Marching Band Featuring Drill Design by JJ Visual Design

The Clay High School Fighting Eagles take a unique approach to their marching season, learning an entirely new show for each home football game. Each production features three movements, with the second performed as a standstill designed to showcase a different section of the band. This fast-paced format gives the ensemble the opportunity to explore a wide variety of music and visual ideas throughout the season. Clay describes its marching band as a show band that performs multiple productions each football season.

Featured from the 2025 season are two of the Fighting Eagles’ shows. Their opening production included Green Day’s “Holiday” and Neon Trees’ “Animal,” while their second show featured Herbie Hancock’s “Chameleon” and The Spencer Davis Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin’.”

Drill(opens in new tab) for the Fighting Eagles’ 2025 productions was written by JJ Visual Design Lead Visual Designer Jon Honeycutt(opens in new tab), creating fresh staging for each new show while supporting the band’s distinctive approach to Friday night performances.
