2025 Westerville North HS Marching Band Production "The Invitation" Featuring Drill Design by JJ Visual Design
Westerville North High School embraced the darker side of the marching arts with its 2025 production, The Invitation. Featuring music including Evanescence’s “My Immortal” and Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Danse Macabre,” the show combined haunting visuals, custom props, and distinctive costuming to create an immersive, spooky atmosphere on the field.
The Westerville North Marching Band performed The Invitation throughout its MSBA and BOA competitive season. The ensemble capped off the year with a fourth-place finish in Class 5A, the highest competitive classification at the MSBA Circuit Championships.
Drill for The Invitation was written by JJ Visual Design Owner and Visual Designer Jeremy Jorgenson, using staging and movement to build suspense and complement the production’s eerie musical and visual identity.
