2025 Hilliard Davidson HS Wildcat Marching Band Production "Dis/Connected" Featuring Drill Design by JJ Visual Design

Hilliard Davidson High School’s 2025 production, Dis/Connected, explored the relationship between technology, social media, screen time, and the growing sense of isolation that can come with constant digital connection. The musical program, arranged by Will Wells, featured “Kill Bill” by SZA, “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd, “Numb” by Linkin Park, and John Mackey’s “Turbine,” creating a contemporary and high-energy soundtrack for the production.

The Wildcat Marching Band enjoyed a standout competitive season, earning three consecutive Grand Champion titles during a late-season stretch and collecting top honors in categories including Color Guard, Percussion, Music, and General Effect. The ensemble also earned straight Superior ratings from the adjudication panel and advanced to the OMEA State Marching Band Finals.

Drill(opens in new tab) for Dis/Connected was written by JJ Visual Design Owner and Visual Designer Jeremy Jorgenson(opens in new tab), using staging and movement to reinforce the production’s themes of connection, separation, and the influence of technology on modern life.
